I love LOVE China Glaze.
Fun tidbit - when I first really got into nail polish and learning about what brands are better for your nails, have good formula, etc... - China Glaze kept popping up everywhere I looked. I had never heard of them before, but the shades I were seeing were gorg!
So I actually went on ebay to buy some mini bottles so I could test them first before I bought full sized ones. I lucked out and won a lot of 16 mini CG's on ebay for $11.00 free shipping! Love. I. Fell. In. Love. I was really impressed that their quality was up to par with O.P.I. and Essie, but their prices were less.
Anyways, I don't have any of the mini's for you today, BUT I do have Fairy Dust. This is a beautiful clear polish chock full of mini iridescent glitter. I wouldn't wear this alone because I prefer opaque polishes, but for swatching purposes I wore it alone so you could see the glitter-fest in all its glory.
A little shaky so you can see the glitter in natural light.
These were all in natural light, 2 coats and no top coat. The formula is a bit on the thick side, not untamed thick, but enough where you could easily gloop it on without realizing. I would suggest, if using Fairy Dust to layer over another color, to only put one thin coat. Use 2 coats, and you lose alot of the wow-factor of the base color.
XoXo,
jess

Love this glitter -- did you have problems taking it off at all? I swear my bottle is like part concrete, this stuff would NOT come off
at first, any glitter was just a p.i.t.a. for me, but then i had read on someone's blog (cant remember who) to soak a cotton ball in acetone (or polish remover)and then put it on your nail and let it absorb for about 5 minutes. that really works for me. but i only do this when i know i have the time to spare. oh! and go to the bathroom, get a drink, scratch your nose, ALL before you do this haha!
