Day 1.
Your Favorite Polish.
Have you guys seen my stash list?? I mean, I have over 300 polishes, how can I possibly choose which is my favorite?? I decided to choose a polish that is my favorite, not because it's easy to apply or it's pretty, but because it means a lot to me.
Earlier this year, when I first really started getting into nail polish, I would order bulks (or lots) of polishes through Ebay for ridiculously cheap prices. One of the lots contained China Glaze Diva Bride. My Mom was battling Multiple Myeloma cancer, so painting our nails and talking about nail polish were fun things for us to do to try and take our minds off the sad times.
When I would get home from work, she would ask me what colors I got in the mail. Out of the many polishes I would receive, she fell in love with China Glaze Diva Bride the most because it was such a soft pink which was her favorite for nail polish. She would ask me to borrow it all the time. My mom passed away in April, and everytime I see this polish, I always think of her. So for Day 1 of this challenge, here is China Glaze Diva Bride, in honor of my mom :)

I decided to make this mani even more special, so I freehanded a burgundy ribbon for Multiple Myeloma Cancer Awareness. I really suck at nail art, but I really wanted to do this ribbon in memory of my mom :)
This was 1 base coat of Orly Nail Armor, 2 coats of China Glaze Diva Bride, and for the ribbon I used Wet n' Wild Buy Me a Drink.
