Glow in the Dark Polish Comparison

Hi everyone! I have a few Glow in the Dark (GITD) polishes in my stash. Some are very cheap ($0.99), some are a little pricier for a GITD polish ($5.99).  So are all GITD polishes created equal? Let's see, shall we?

I have 5 polishes. 3 are unnamed pumpkin shaped GITD's I picked up from Rite Aid for $1.99 each. 1 is Wet n Wild: Fantasy Makers-Night Glow. The last is China Glaze's Ghoulish Glow.

In order to get GITD polishes to glow, you need to "charge" them in the light for about half a minute. Seriously. I had no idea that's how they got their glow! The fiance walked in on me one night trying fervently trying to get my polishes to glow! He's like, "C'mon, really? Everyone knows you need to put them in the light for a bit for them to glow"...Yea, well....everyone but ME!! LOL

Let's see how they stack up against each other.

Bottom Row: Fantasy Makers Night Glow

L-R: FM- Night Glow, ChG-Ghoulish Glow, Yellow, Orange, Green Pumpkin Polishes

Right off the bat, Fantasy Makers Night Glow and the unnamed Orange polish are the least glowy. The green pumpkin polish glowed the most, but ChG Ghoulish Glow was a close second. For $1.99, I don't think you can go wrong with the green pumpkin GITD. And don't the bottles look cool in the dark? Of course, if I woke up in the middle of the night and saw them glowing, I might just have a mini attack LOL.

Sooooo.....thoughts? Do you have any of these? Do you have any other GITD polishes you would recommend? How about the O.P.I. one?

XoXo,
jess
